Day 1: Arusha – Lake Natron
Your day will begin after breakfast by about 8:00 AM. We depart with packed lunch boxes towards Lake Natron. The drive will take 3 – 4 hours. The lake serves as the most important breeding ground for more than two million lesser flamingos, making it the best place in East Africa to find them in great numbers. The lake itself is not the only geological marvel in the vicinity, either—the towering Ol Doinyo Lengai rises above the plains here. Its name translates to the “Mountain of God” in the local Maasai language. We will visit Maasai Village and learn their traditional ways of life and even participate in one of their traditional songs. We’ll be treated to an exceptional view of the mountain when we head to our Lengai Natron Campsite for dinner and overnight and a campfire under the dazzling stars of the night sky.
Day 2: Lake Natron – Ngare Sero Waterfalls
Wake up by a cup of coffee then put your walking shoes on as a Maasai tribesman takes you on a walk around the shores of Lake Natron on the lookout for birds, especially the lesser flamingos, then we return to accommodation by 8:30 AM and finishing up a good breakfast. After breakfast you will be accompanied by a Maasai guide, enjoy some hiking to the nearby Ngare Sero waterfalls and relax in the cool spray of water cascading down the rocks of this scenic ravine. Don’t forget to bring your swimming costumes. Return to the camp for hot lunch and relaxation enjoying your surroundings. Dinner and overnight at Lengai Natron Camp on full board basis
Day 3: Lake Natron – Northern Serengeti
Breakfast then pick your lunch boxes and head to Northern Serengeti via Klein’s gate enroute game drive to your accommodation. . The Serengeti National Park is the world’s last great wildlife refuge as it contains an estimated three million large animals, most of which take part in a seasonal migration that is one of nature’s wonders. The area covers 14,763 sq kms and the name Serengeti comes from the Maasai “Siringet’’, meaning endless plains. Dinner and overnight at Lobo Campsite on full board basis
Day 4: Northern Serengeti
You will finish a good breakfast and begin your day by 7 AM. From July to September, the Mara River in this region offers the most dramatic river crossing of the great migration. Fierce, deep and heavily rain fed the river takes an enormous toll on the migrating wildebeest. Watching the wildebeest surging through the torrential flow, some drowning and a few falling prey to lurking crocodiles is an unforgettable sight. If it’s your lucky day you will be able to witness this natural wonder and watch nature take its course. Tracing the great migration, you might even move towards the Lobo valley. During the dry season, the permanent water sources in the valley attract plenty of resident and migratory animals. During the full day game drive, you will have a stop where you can have your picnic lunch. Later return to Lobo Campsite for dinner and overnight on full board basis
Day 5: Central Serengeti
Early morning breakfast then checks out with all your belonging and packed lunch and you will drive to Central Serengeti for game drive. We will break for picnic lunch then continue with game drive. The lush plains of the Serengeti have made it an ideal home to wildlife for millions of years. This ancient ecosystem continues to thrive and wildebeests, zebras, gazelles and giraffes are often seen grazing in herds. This is one of the best places in the world to spot lions dozing in a shade. Also, leaping after a marked prey or gnawing off a share of their hunt. Stop for picnic lunch. Drive to Seronera Campsite at the centre of Serengeti for dinner and overnight on full board basis
Day 6: Full Day Serengeti

There are several documented resident lion prides just within a one-hour game drive radius from Seronera. During the dry season, the resident prides begin to shift west and north in their territories and concentrate in the central region of the park. The dry season is a particularly good time for lion viewing in the Central Serengeti. The Central Serengeti is also one of the best areas in Africa to spot the elusive leopard. You may be lucky enough to encounter this majestic cat in the branches of the sausage trees that dot the banks of the Seronera River. Dinner and overnight at Simba Campsite on full board basis
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater – Manyara
Breakfast then descend into the Ngorongoro caldera very early in the morning to view the wildlife on the crater floor with picnic lunch box. Large herds of zebra, buffalo, antelope and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist. You will have lunch at the picnic site near Hippo Pool. The Hadzabe tribe (hunter-gatherers) lives close to the shores of Lake Eyasi. And so do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe. Quite a lot of wildlife can be spotted here too. {guiding & tipping to local tribes to be paid direct by clients}. After lunch drive back to Kizumba Campsite on full board basis
